Charles E Ward, 72 gained his wings and joined the Lord on Sunday June 14, 2020. He was born in Birmingham, AL to Helen Ward.

Charles was born and raised in Birmingham, but spent the majority of his life in Columbus, Ohio after relocating there in the mid-sixties. Shortly after, he met the love of his life, Purtina. They were married on November 24, 1969 and had 3 children.

To family
I haven’t seen Charles for years. I met Charles when I worked at Lazarus downtown. We had lots of laughs. After working with him we lost contact but I did see him some years later with his son Maruis Trontu I think was his name. Very proud papa. My most sincere condolences family.
