Sanders Charles

Charles Edward Sanders was born October 15, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Marshall, Sr. and Mother Wilma Sanders. He graduated from Beechcroft High School in 1987. He was affectionately called Uncle Chuck, Moze, Mooda, Lil Bro, and Sir Charles.

Charles was raised in Triedstone Baptist Church from birth until Sunday August 13, 2017. Charles worked at Beechcroft High School as Assistant Associate for Special Needs Children. After leaving Beechcroft High School, he became employed with Anthony Wayne Services aka Benchmark Human Services as the Program Director until his health would not allow him to do so.

Charles passionate hobbies included cooking, which he inherited from his grandmother, watching cooking shows, The Golden Girls, Sanford and Son, The Judge Shows, and was a perfectionist home decorator.

Charles was preceded in death by both grandparents, siblings Rose Marie Sanders and John Sanders. He leaves to cherish his memory, siblings Carolyn Williams, Shirley (Kenneth) Langhorne, James Sanders, Marshall (Debbie) Sanders Jr., Robert (Sandra) Sanders, Jerry and James Tatum, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Mother Butler, Michael Kean, Sellina Kpan, Keion and Debbie Collier, Mark Harper, Peyton Henderson, and the Triedstone Church Family.

Condolence from Michael Kean on August 17th, 2017 7:51 am

The angels looked down from heaven one night
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.

They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven
Forever to remain.

Look down on us from heaven
Keep us free from hurt and pain,
You’ll always be within my heart
Until we meet again.

RIH Charles, I’ll never forgot you.
