Great Grandfather to Ajani Preston, Braylon, Bryden, and Brittyn Nowlin. He also leaves behind an Older Brother William (Doreatha) Nowlin. The two brothers were very close and could often be found enjoying a game of checkers. Charles made many friends throughout his life, such as Linda Fischer, Ralph Hudgins, Calvin Barnett, and Barbara Brown. He always enjoyed a good laugh, a good meal or a good cup of coffee. He will be missed by everyone who crossed his path. He was affectionately called ” Pops” by many, lending testimony to his character of always looking out for anyone the best he could. He fought a good fight and earned a much deserved rest…SEMPER FI
