Charley Booth, Jr

BoothCharleyJr2

Charley Booth Jr affectionately known to friends and family as “Charley Boo” went home to be with Our Lord, Friday December 10, 2021 at the age of 68.

Charley was born to Geraldine Small (Surratt) January 30, 1953. Charley was a lifelong resident of Columbus, OH and a graduate of Linden McKinley High School. Charley was a faithful member of Apostolic Faith Temple, not only had he dedicated his life to Christ, he made it a point to share his testimony and his love for Jesus with everyone. As former owner of B&B Painting, Charley was a Jack-of-all-trades. Charley was the first person you called on for painting, mounting tv’s, car issues, and just about anything else imaginable. Charley spent years participating in local basketball, football, and softball leagues. Charley was also a coach and mentor to his grandchildren, making sure that he could make it to as many games as possible. Most notable would be Charley’s sense of humor, if you were with him- you were guaranteed to laugh.

Charley is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Small (Suratt); sisters, Bertha Westmoreland and Tina Booth; son, Terrance Booth.

Left to cherish his memory, wife, Roberta Booth; daughters, Chara (Stephen) Rice and Latonia Booth; sons, Charles (Abrianna) Hargrove, Charles (Makayla) Napper, Carlos Booth, Tracey Booth, Deshawn Booth, and Quandale Booth; brother, Elrecco Thomas; sisters, Clara (Terry) Coleman, and Vickie Thomas; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

It is never goodbye-only see you later.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Apostolic Faith Temple, 1634 E. Main Street.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
