Chaz Allen Robertson was born in Columbus, Ohio. Chaz entered the world on April 5, 1985 and awakened to his final sunrise on December 13, 2017. Chaz was a special person and loved by everyone who crossed his path.

Chaz was a very mischievous loving child similar to “Dennis the Menace” and loved playing jokes on his siblings and using them for amusement and entertainment. Chaz was an athletic young man, and played every sport he could in high school. Although football was his passion, he also enjoyed playing basketball and running track. Chaz loved fashion and took great pride in his appearance.

Chaz was working diligently towards being a business entrepreneur in the very near future. Chaz’s biggest joy was his son Chaz Jr., and being a good father. He was very passionate to be Team Dad/Coach of his sons football team, and assist with “Baby Chaz’s” basketball team.

Preceded in death by his “Maw-maw” grandmother Martha A. Robertson and his uncle “Boo-Boo” Agnew Cleage III whom were very dear to his heart. He leaves to cherish his memory loving parents Sherry Robertson and Victor Woods; son Chaz Robertson, Jr. “Baby Chaz”; sisters, Troyonna and Chala Robertson; brothers, Jonti Robertson, Troyon Webster, Victor Taylor, Cameron Taylor, Quentin (Ashlee) Taylor; aunts, Tina Robertson, Theria Williams, and Regina Head; longtime cherished companion Rashonda Lyons. 1. May your soul find a resting place where all things are good in the eyes of the Lord….Ms. Robertson and family, be steadfast in your faith and unshaken by the absence of your son. The Lyons family join you in mourning and will pray for your continued strength in this journey on earth. We love Chaz and are thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of his life.

To my niece Rashonda and great nephew Chaz…take from the good and cherish the memories. God has called Chaz home to watch over you from above. Know that he will always be with you. May the spiritual connection be unbroken where the flesh can no longer be seen…

    Sherry,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Nicholas told me about your son’s passing and my heart breaks for you. May you find peace during this very difficult time.

  5. To the family of Chaz, you have my deepest sympathy in your loss. Death is truly difficult especially when a young person dies with their whole life ahead of them. Romans 6:7 says, “For the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin.” How is that? Verse 23 of that same chapter says, “For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” May you rely on God’s promises to get you through this difficult period.

  6. Dear Sherry and Family:
We are wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
