Cheryl Lynn Bryant, 64 of Mansfield, passed after a 13-year battle with Cancer. Despite receiving an innovative Car-T Cell Treatment her smile, faith, and character never wavered. Born June 10, 1957 in Mansfield to the late Henry and Celestine (Moffett) Shepard, she was a lifelong resident and graduated from Mansfield Sr. High in 1975. She earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Human Services from North Central State College. Cheryl worked at Abbott Laboratories/Hospira Inc. for 18 years and Westinghouse where she met the love of her life for 36 years Donald Bryant Jr. Cheryl is survived by her husband Donald Bryant Jr. whom she married December 22, 1984; their children Tangela Shepard and Donald Bryant both of Miami, Florida; Grand Dogs Fufu and “G”, her Sisters Carolyn Caldwell of Mansfield, Deborah (Alexander) Shoulders of Lackey, Virginia; Brothers Henry Shepard Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio and Aubrey Shepard of Mansfield; an Aunt Margie Wilborn of Toledo, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents Cheryl was preceded in death by her four siblings Mildred Bonner, Sylvia White, Michael Shepard, and Audrey Gore. Cheryl was a member of New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going on vacation to new places, reading, and dancing. A private funeral will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Oasis of Love with Rev. Patricia Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will be at Mansfield Cemetery. The family will also receive friends at their home at 398 Opal Drive Mansfield, Ohio from 4:00-8:00 pm daily until the day of the service.

    Our hearts were saddened when we heard of the transition of Sister Cheryl Bryant, yet our spirits rejoice in knowing that she is now with Almighty God in an eternal praise! We thank God for the years that we were blessed by her service, loving heart, and kind spirit. She was dedicated whole-heartedly to her family, friends & home. A woman who will be deeply missed by the many people that were divinely touched by her life.

    Be it further resolved that we, the members of the Kingdom Grace Fellowship Church family, will continue to intercede in prayer on behalf of your family; we love you and stand ready to assist you with any need. To her husband, Donald Bryant Jr.; daughter Tangela; son Donnie Bryant, other relatives and friends, we will continue to stand with you however we can.
