Cheryl Lynn Lewis was born on August 24,1961 to her parents Mary and John Lewis. God called Cheryl home on December 18, 2022, surrounded by her siblings, praising God as she transitioned to be with the Lord.

Cheryl worked at Caskey’s Cleaners as a cashier and worked as a receptionist at Pathway for many years.
She was a graduate of Columbus East High School.

Cheryl was a sister, aunt, confidant, friend, and good advisor. Her eyes sparkled as she enjoyed your company. She loved everyone in her special way. Cheryl was caring, sharing and had a heart as big as the sun. She had a special motherly relationship with her nephew Shawn. Cheryl was a devoted Christian and was a member of Abundant Love Tabernacle for over 20 years.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, John L. Lewis Sr.; mother, Mary L. Lewis; brother, Terry Lewis; niece, Ulyssia Lewis and nephew, Lorenzo Mason.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory brothers; John Lewis Jr., David Lewis, Lawson Harris, Jr., Dathan Harris, Sr., sisters; Mary Lewis and Felicia Lewis, aunt; Vada Greer, nephews; Stephon Lewis, Antonio Mason, Sr., Dathan Harris, Jr., Lawson Harris III, Winston Sewell and Lavell Lewis, nieces; Starlina Lewis, Terrica Truly, Tashella Lewis, Lawsonya Harris, Elaina Sewell and a host of cousins and friends.

Cheryl will truly be missed by all.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).

Interment at Evergreen.
