When Chris arrived on May 7, 2007, Mom, Dad and Big Brother Dominique were excited and overjoyed! Their family was complete. Chris was always “busy” and curious and time passed and he grew. Those traits only flourished! He progressed from Mom and Dad’s arms to walking and and running . From carrying Elmo everywhere to Lightning McQueen to Johnny Test. Notice the theme here, action all of the way! he went from kindergarten and elementary, to junior high and high school.
Chris enjoyed life, he thrived! Even though Chris loved playing video games, Teen Titans and WWE, if the choice was to be outside, no matter the season, or do things, no contest, outside was the move. He went from Snapchat to Tiktok and IG. Tomar taught Dom and Christian to swim from an early age and they both loved it. We watched Christian go from being the protected by Dom to being the protector of his big brother. Chris was the youngest and smallest til’ little sister Krystiana came along. He loved being a big brother but over the last 3 years, Chris became the biggest and tallest of the family. He loved the fact that he towered over his mom and practically everyone else in his family, though, he still had some “giants” to catch. People say Christian was destined for greatness but Chris was already great. Not because of his athleticism. He was more than an athlete. He was so many things to so many people. Christian wasn’t a diamond in the rough, he was fully faceted.
Christian was a rarity, just like a diamond, he was fully a teen and fully and unabashedly a big kid all at once. He still enjoyed being a kid…ask those kids at his cousin Jada’s graduation party just a few weeks ago. Now Chris would try to “Bass” on you and show his little chin hairs. This year because of his big brother Dominique, Christian wanted to be a peer helper, yes, more than an athlete.
Christian’s favorite subjects were history, math and english! He loved spending time with family and if you looked up the definition of “Mama’s Boy”, I’m pretty sure there would be a picture of Chris….just saying.
He tried his hand at baking and made a better bundt cake than his MOM. His favorite dish to prepare was chicken parmesian. He was always ready to workout and hone his craft, whether that was sports or playing pranks on his friends and family. We remember his smile and laughter , his zest for life! Chris loved his Uncle Blair and Uncle Brandon and they both kept it real with him and held him to account. If something big and exciting happened, MiMi, Paw Paw and Sweetie could expect a phone call from Christian with his exciting news! One thing about him, if Christian loved you, you knew it. That’s true of both family and friends. We’d like to leave you with this important fact . Christian was a Christian, he knew the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior!

I wish the best for Chris mom and close friends during this time were all hurt from this incident and will continue to live his name and legacy on for him and I pray for the best of us all that was close to him and known him, he was the best friend anybody could ask for he always brought happiness to me whenever he came around and I appreciate the time and memories that I got to spend with him while he was here with us but I pray we all get through this together and stay strong for him and his family❤️❤️

What an amazing dude I first met the athlete I remember in a pyaa game I think it was a turn over and on the very next play he chase down my son and gave him a nice hit flex over him lol and the ref tossed the flag and while it was falling down to the ground Chris smack the flag I knew that very moment he was what I like as a football player and was my dude than as him and my son and there friends grew older I met the young man the more than an athlete always was smiling just full of life I’m so glad to cross paths with this amazing young man the Holland family send our prayers to his mother and father cause there is no words we can express to comfort you both but God will definitely know when everyone is gone and it’s just you alone and your thoughts lean on God y’all raised an amazing young man L.L.C #19 “more than an athlete”

from a close friend is chris’s i wanna say how thankful and gratful i was to be his friend. i watched him grow up since he was just 6 years old. it was never a bad moment with him, he grew up to be such an amazing, handsome, kind kid. one thing i can say is he tried to live life to the fullest . i never thought i would be repping “long live chris” or any of my friends of that matter.. christian would’ve made an amazing father and husband someday. but god had other plans for his life.. he may no longer be earthside with us anymore but he’s always in our hearts and he’s gonna be around listening, so don’t be afraid to sit and talk to him. he may not be able to speak to us physically but know he’s always listening. love from his childhood friend rosie
Chris was my first friend and my sisters first boyfriend when we moved to Brentwood he introduced me to Rosie and we became a inseparable group I remember all the times when we just sat upstairs and played with wrestlers or played at the park till dark there was never a dull moment with us and imma miss that I wish we had a group reunion it would’ve been the best im grateful I got to see all of us go from immature kids to mature teenagers. I don’t think Chris knew how much of an impact he had on me. When I was at my lowest and he was just a little kid, his joyful presence always filled my spirit with love. I’ll never forget the fun experiences I got to share with him. And I always knew, more than anything, that he was destined for greatness—and i wasn’t wrong. Rest in Peace Christian.
