Christina Alliese Rice

RiceChristina

Christina Alliese Rice was born June 04, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio to Stephen Rice and Donna Kincannon.

Christina became a mother of two at a young age. Despite the timing, there wasn’t a time when you saw or spoke to her that you wouldn’t see or hear them right behind her

Christina graduated from Marion Franklin High School, class of 1995. She then earned her license from the Ohio State School of Cosmetology. Christina was well rounded when it came to showing off her many talents in that industry. Christina loved and was loved by anyone she encountered.

Although she went through a lot you’d never see her down or would you be able to tell on the outside. She had a smile that could brighten up the room.

Christina battled her illness for several years, followed by the loss of her youngest child, but she never let that affect her spirits. To know her was to love her.

Christina was called home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2018 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Donna Kincannon and Son, Quincy Storey-Rice.

She leaves to forever cherish her memory; Father, Stephen (Mariquita) Rice; Daughter, Desira Rice; Brothers Christopher and Stephen Rice; Sisters, Rhonda Rice and Tonya Moore and a host of step children, step siblings, cousins, relatives and friends.

Matthew 11:28 English Standard Version (ESV)

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

  3. To the family and friends of Christina, I am so sorry for your loss. Death is one of the most difficult situations we must face. In the very near future, no one will say “I am sick,” and every disease or illness will be eliminated forever! (Isaiah 33:24) We have God’s promise at Revelation 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” May you find comfort in God’s promises at this difficult time.

I was there the day Christina was born. She was welcomed into my heart with love. She was my Goddaughter who brighten my world. But as time went on we lost track of time through just living life. Recently we founded one another with great joy and love. We talked and rejoiced making plans to meet. I am so greatful that we had the chance to share our memories and love. So with a heavy heart I send my deepest condolences to all her family. May Jesus give you the strength to make it in this time of need. To Donna, Christina and other members of our family this is not a goodbye… But a I will see you again. Love you in heaven with all my heart… Stephanie Gant and family
