Chris joined the church at an early age and was baptized at the First Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio. Christ worked several businesses in the community such as, Planks, Donato’s, Kroger, and the Gap warehouse in Grove City, Ohio. He graduated from South High School where he was known for his basketball skills on the varsity team. He also played on some AAU teams over the years. He loved creating music and he could play drums. Even more than basketball and music Chris had a passion for loving and helping others, especially his family and friends, both young and old. There were many times that he even helped those he didn’t even know.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford T. Williams of Dayton, Ohio; step father, Charles O. Wilder Sr. of Columbus, Ohio; grandparents, Leon and Claudia Miller of Myrtlewood, Alabama, and Sanford and Lucile Williams of Troup, Georgia; step grandparents, Lovey and Virginia Wilder of Aliceville, Alabama; and 3 great friends, Derrick Thompson and Chris Skyers and Darshawn Perry.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his mother, Maggie Miller; 2 sons, Christopher Jr., and Keiaun Miller; 1 step daughter, Kanajah Harris; 1 grandson, D’emarye Eugene Jackson-Miller, all of Columbus, Ohio; 1 brother, Charles O. Wilder Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; 1 sister, Dawn Lewis of Dayton, Ohio; 1 niece, Jordyn Lewis and 1 nephew, Jason Lewis both of Dayton, Ohio;4 loving aunts, Claudia (Nanny) Rodgers, Motilda Miller, Maxine Miller all of Columbus, Ohio, and Louise (David) Rice of Bedford, Ohio; mother of his children, Keista M. Wellington, and loving companion Tiffany Ingram both of Columbus, Ohio; special cousins, Tyrone Johnson of Covington, Georgia and David Gossett of Columbus, Ohio, and a host of beloved cousins and friends who he cherished; and several childhood friends that still remain true today, Tierre Harris, James (Stretch) Chandler, Brad (BA) Anderson, Brandon Wade, and Diamondo Butler, all of Columbus, Ohio, and others.

 

 

 

 

 

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Friday, December 17, 2021 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
