Christopher Vaughn Harvey, (Lil Chris) was born on July 16,1990 the youngest son of Christopher Wayne Harvey and first born to Connie Vaughn, in Columbus, Ohio. He transitioned on December 7, 2022, at his home in Jacksonville, FL at 32 years of age.
Lil Chris as his family and friend so affectionately called him. Lil Chris was raised by his father since fifth grade who instilled in him, “Harvey men keep their word,” and to be better than the environment around you. Chris excelled in any sport he played and not to bad academically. Chris graduated from Walnut Ridge High School, in Columbus, Ohio in 2008. Chris was a decorated athlete named All-City, All-District and Special Mention All-Ohio in 2007. Chris was also All-Metro Columbus and collected nine letters in his four years at Walnut Ridge three in football and two each in baseball, basketball, track and field. Chris then went on to study at Ashland University to get his Bachelors in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration and continue to play football on the colligate level. while playing at Ashland University, he was All Conference Defensive Player two of his four years and was part of the Great Lakes Inter-Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship team.
Chris then had two beautiful children, Laylah and Jada Harvey. Chris married Whitney in 2019 and gained a bonus son Tourie Evans. Chris loved spending time with his children, coaching and playing football, going to gymnastics, and swimming lessons, traveling, supporting, and spending time friends and family. Chris was a proud, patient, and loving father. Chris turned to Christ and joined Love Gave Baptist Church (Pastor Donald Lewis Jr.), in Jacksonville, FL. Chris had an entrepreneurial mind and opened his own business “Furever Pack” training dogs and changing the lives of pet parents. Chris had a great personality and anyone he encountered had great things to say from his demeanor to his wit.
Predeceased in death his Grandparents Homer and Caroline Elaine Harvey, and Father-in-Law Adam Frye.
Chris leaves to cherish fond memories and celebrate his life father Christopher Harvey (Tiffany), mother Connie Vaughn, his children Laylah and Jada Harvey (Bonus Son Tourie Evans), siblings Dawon Harvey (Maryssa), Amber Harvey, Quartez Johnson, Khadijah Johnson, Khaden Vaughn and Jamea Vaughn, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, and an Abundance of friends.

Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
