Clara Bell Givens,age 90, passed away on August 20, 2022. Clara was born on May 23, 1932 in Biscoe, AR to John and Lorene Kennedy.
Clara was a member of The Oasis of Love Church where she served on The Mothers Board, YWCC, Usher Board, Sunday Breakfast, Christmas Give A Away, Women’s Day Choir and Charity Ministry. She loved going to Mansfield Senior games and shopping at the Flea Market.
She worked many years at Mansfield Tire Company and did a lot of community service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James T. Givens Sr.;beloved son, Carey Jennings and sister, Zenobia Roetzell.
Clara is survived by her daughters, Patricia(Marvin) O’Daniel and Brenda Givens; son, James T. Givens Jr.; special nieces, Beverly Anderson and Martha Jones; friends, Theresa and Ben Williams Jr.; special cousins, Marilyn Claybrook Wells, Charles Claybrook and William Claybrook and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Oasis Family including Co Pastor Shirley Jordan.
Visitation 10:00am and Home Going Service 11:00am Monday, August 29, 2022 at The Oasis of Love 190 Chester Ave. Interment at Mansfield Cemetery.
