Clarence Edwards Scales, Jr was born August 9, 1965 in Columbus, OH to Clarence Edwards Scales, Sr and Betty Geraldine Thompson-Johnson. Clarence attended Whetstone High School and worked many years in nursing.

God called Clarence home Saturday, August 31, 2019. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Betty Geraldine Thompson-Johnson and Clarence Edwards Scales, Sr; grandparents; sisters, Michelene Johnson and Debra Herbin; brother, Tommy Clyburn; and friend, Tina Patterson;

Clarence leaves to cherish his memory, brother, John Scales; nieces, Ebony Hogg and Camishawn Hogg; nephews, Rodney Hogg and William (Ciarra) Harmon; special cousins, Sue Vinson, Jeannetta Armsted, and William A. Hooker; special friends, Paulette Russell, Angis Battles, Maria Patterson, Linda Milton, Monie McDogal, and Alan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation 6:00pm and Memorial Service 7:00pm Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
