Claudette Elaine Foster, was born Claudette Elaine Sims, in Columbus OH, on July 30, 1950 to the late Georgia Mae Sims and James Henry Sims Sr.

Claudette left the earth in peace with God at the age of 72 on August 26, 2022.  Claudette attended Marion Franklin High School, where she learned her seamstress skills.  Later in life, post high school, Claudette began a long career of employment with Aramark.  For more than 72 years Claudette gave of herself to family and friends and was a faithful believer.

Claudette was preceded n death by her parents; brother, James H. Sims Jr. and sister, Brenda Medley.

Claudette leaves in her memory, two wonderful children Stephen and Carmita Foster; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; brother, George Sims and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.

She loved shooting pool, playing dominoes, and cards with family and friends.  Claudette was and always will remain a well-balanced soul that got as hard as she gave it.  Meaning: if she loved you, you knew it, and if she didn’t like something you knew it too!  Claudette loved to sing with her beautiful voice and be the life of the party.  For all these reasons, she will forever live within our hearts.
