My sincerest condolences to the Wade Family. You have my deepest sympathy. Praying for peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love during this time of sorrow. Clifton and his family were part of the original Brentnell neighborhood. Him and I were the closest of friends since around the age of six years old. We grew up from childhood to manhood. In our adult years he went to work as a Branch Manger at a bank and I went into the Air Force. But every time I came home to visit my family I also made sure I saw my other brother Cliff. I will miss him dearly.

just one old white soldier saying thank you to the family of a black soldier who served during the same era. it was not easy and scant thanks was offered to any soldier of that time but especially to black soldiers of that time, or any other. i always read the obituaries of soldiers and offer them thanks in my prayers with special thanks to those who offered to serve a country which has seldom served them. Please know that there are those of their fellow soldiers who hold them in highest regard. My condolences on the loss of this good and faithful servant of God and country.
