CSM Frederick O’Dell Bell

CSM Frederick O’Dell Bell, (Retired US Army), was born February 4, 1930, in Columbus, OH, to the union of Louis E. and Sarah L. Bell. He made his transition New Year’s Day, January 1, 2021.

Frederick is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mirjana Bell, sister, Lula Mae Austin (Richard), brothers, John (Diane) Bell, Belleville, MI, and Rolen Bell.

Frederick is survived by brothers, Melvin (Wanda) Bell, Florissant, MO, Leroy (Evelyn Elaine) Bell, Columbus, OH, Lawrence Bell, Columbus, OH, and Eddy (Lana) Bell, Detroit, MI; sisters, Cora Lanier, Columbus, OH, Sharon Strickland, Southfield, MI, and Jacquelyn Bell, Yorktown, VA.  He leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special cousin, Earlene Fields, Columbus, OH, as well as, lifelong friends, Richard and Delois Perry of Columbus, OH, Charles Fields, Columbus, OH, and military friend, Dwight Hicks (Ljubica), Alexandria, VA.  And lastly, his devoted niece, Ann Elaine Fields, Columbus, OH.

The interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington VA on Thursday, July 29, 2021.
