Cobb Jones, age 79. Sunrise December 25, 1936 in Alberta, VA and Sunset April 10, 2016 in Columbus, OH. Cobb retired from The U.S. Air Force and The U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the VFW Post 3764. Cobb was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Jennie Hill Jones, brothers Edward, James and Ernest Jones and sister Ruby Jones. Left to cherish his memory, wife Mary E. Neloms Jones, sons Michael Alan Jones and Steven (Sherri) Jones, brother Louis Jones, sister Mary Ann Hill, favorite aunt Frances (Thomas) Mabry, special cousin Richard Allen, godchildren Brandi Clark, Rebecca Smith and Jada Mickey, sisters in law Loretta Neloms, Mary Ann (Homer) Williams and Rosia Edwards (Clarence) Lane, brother in law Charles (Diane) Neloms, special friends Alan Boyd, Kenny Wiggins and Sue Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Monday April 18, 2016 at Triedstone Baptist Church 858 E. 3rd Ave. Interment with military honors at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
