On Sunday, September 26, 2021, Cordella Reese, loving Mother of four children, passed away at age 70. Cordella was born on July 7, 1951, in Columbus, OH to Lucille Reese Hall and Cordell Reese.

Cordella was a phenomenal woman, and she knew it. She was bold, strong, fearless, and beautiful. Growing up she attended South High School. She married David Martin in 1968 and they had 4 children together (Monique, Merchelle, David & Harold Martin). She later married Ainsley McCalla and had several businesses together before he passed away. She enjoyed being an entrepreneur, cooking and traveling. She lived the majority of her life between South Florida and Ohio.

Cordella had a passion for cooking. She also loved to serve and have fun, and she combined her two favorite hobbies when she entertained her family and friends. Her food had always been her way to give back and show love. She was also an avid music and animal lover. She was known for her classiness, infectious beauty, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Cordella was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sisters Kay, Angela, and brother William.

She is survived and always remembered by her four children, Monique, Merchelle, David, and Leo, her loving sisters Sherita Reese and Brenda Thomas, grandchildren Anthony Phillips, Monet McCalla, Jason and Justin Campbell and many family and friends. We all come from God and to God we will all return.
