MooreCrystal

Crystal Ann Moore was the oldest of a set of twins, born to Lloyd M. Moore Sr. and Ruth Sanders-Moore on February 2, 1957. She was unexpectedly called to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018.

Crystal resided in Columbus her entire life. She attended Central High School, afterwards she worked at the Hyatt Regency downtown, Crystal loved children, and was a caring child care provider for several years. She later worked at Kroger as a cashier, and she retired from The Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Crystal really enjoyed playing board games with her children, nieces, and nephews. She devoted her life with caring for her youngest daughter Christina. She enjoyed listening to music and playing bingo. She spent many special hours with her daughter in law Tia Miller. She loved having company, however if you came to her house unannounced, you were not getting in.

She gave her life to the Lord earlier this year. Crystal was preceded in death by her father Lloyd M. Moore Sr., mother and stepfather John and Ruth Smith, uncles, aunts, and grandparents, and very special long time friend Lucy Kline.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children LaToya Moore, Brandon Moore, Christina Moore, Perry (Tia) Miller Jr., brother Lloyd M. (Susan) Moore Jr., sisters Sheila (Glenn) Austin, Christelle (Robert) Windham, and her favorite sister Juanita M. Moore, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces, also a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday, July 14, 2018 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Condolence Messages

  1. We would like to offer the Moore family our deepest sympathy. In just a little while all of the pain and sorrow that we feel from the death of our love ones will cease and be replaced with joy, because the former things have passed away. With caring thoughts.
