She was preceded in death by mother, Latalia Standifer; grandson, Joe Summerall III and cousin, Danielle Standifer.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Mark Hunter; daughter, LaTasha (Joe Summerall, Jr.) Standifer; sons, Marcus (Brittany Luckett Standifer) and Dontay Standifer; grandchildren, Kesean Standifer, Ayanna Summerall, Savannah Standifer; father, John Standifer; brothers, John Standifer III, Jimmy Corre; mother who raised her, Elizabeth Burks; aunt, Clair Standifer; mother-in-law, Yvonne Coleman; sisters-in-law, Mona and Wanda Hunter; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Pam), Robert (Mary) and John Hunter and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service, 12 Noon Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (One block east of Noe Bixby, Turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

Our hearts are broken as we reflect on how much you all will miss Crystal. We don’t have much to offer but we can pray for you, offer hugs, and an ear to listen when you need one. To the family and friends of Crystal, I am so sorry for your loss. When someone you love dies, it is like losing an irreplaceable, rare-precious jewel. God knows how you feel because he had to endure the pain of His son’s agonizing death. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” May you rely on God’s promise that Crystal will live again!
