Dale D’Angelo Houston, 51, of Columbus, OH departed this life Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born December 22, 1968 to Johnny and Ennis A. Houston. Dale graduated from Independence High School in 1987.

He worked in the Mortgage Dept for J.P. Morgan Chase for 20 years. While working with the company he participated in Peer Mentorship Program for many years. Dale was always the life of the party with his jokes, his presence overfilled any room he entered. He definitely left a lasting impression with everyone he encountered.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Stephanie of 16 years. His daughters Ashley Vance, Krishana Vance, and Dachell Scales, sister LaWonda Y. Houston sisters-in-law, Edda Houston and Summer Vance, brother, Keith (Shawntel) Smith, brother-in-law, Dale (Tanita) Vance, grandsons, Dalevontē Vance and D’Angelo Grant. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, bonus children, bonus grandchildren and special friends.

Preceded in death by mother and father, Johnny and Ennis A. Houston, brother Marcus Houston. Dale will be truly missed by his family and friends. His light will continue to shine while watching over us.

PUBLIC VISITATION 11:00 AM 1:00 PM.

PRIVATE (TICKET REQUIRED) Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

A MASK IS MANDATORY.

This was sudden, Totally unexpected.There are no words for this . Dale will truly be missed . I will miss the calls for advice and guidance, and just chatter when needed to vent. Wow I just watched this video and it brought back memories. I only have childhood memories of Dale, I’m his cousin Tonya McLin Kegler. Growing up we had big fun. I was so saddened to hear he and Aunt Ann had passed. Wanda you and the rest of the family are continuously in my prayers..
