DaQwan Marquis Kurtz, age 25, was born on April 24, 1996 to LaToya L. Kurtz and Ronnie G. Williams in Albion, MI.  He departed this life on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

 

DaQwan was proceeded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, John A. Kurtz Sr and Paternal Grandfather, Ronnie Williams.  Both Maternal Great-Grandparents, Ulysses and Lizzie May Rogers.  Great-Grandmother, Zula Crenshaw.  Great-aunt Barbara Etta Dunn.  Aunts Denise Bonner-Vaughn and Shaun Bonner.

 

He attended Groveport Madison Schools where he graduated in the class of 2015.  He attended Urbana University to play football before returning to Columbus where he did factory work.  He hoped to return to school to pursue a degree in sports management.  He had a love for sports at a young age.  He took his love for sports very seriously and he was very competitive, playing both football and basketball.

 

He enjoyed listening to and writing music, playing video games, hanging with family and friends, and spending time with his daughter.

 

DaQwan leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Aubrey Kurtz (OH); His mother, LaToya Kurtz-Green (OH),   Father, Ronnie G. Williams (MI),  Step-Father, Jermaine Green Sr (OH);  Siblings Dalen Green (OH), Ronnie Williams (OH), Thailan Taylor (MI), Step-brother, Jermaine Green Jr. (OH) , Step-sister, Janese Green (OH) and a host of others; Grandparents, Loretta and Alan Weddle (OH) and Betty Jean Glasper (MI); Aunts Acquenette Fisher (OH), Angela Union (MI), Renee Miller (MI); Uncles John A. Kurtz Jr. (OH), Ladale Williams (MI), Lloyd Williams (MI), Brian Swinton (MI); Close Cousins Mikeya Jones (OH), Id’Jhona Fisher (OH), Darryl Fisher Jr (OH), Jonnaya Kurtz (OH), Samantha Cleveland (OH); Special Friends, Clarence Higgins (OH), Chris Tabor (OH), Jermain Radcliff (OH), Diontae Saunders (OH), Quynton Stills, and a host of other family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

PUBLIC Visitation 9:00 AM and PRIVATE Visitation 10:00 AM Private Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Trinity Family Life Center, 6389 Blacklick Eastern Road. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).
