Darryl W. Hinton

HintonDarryl

Darryl Wayne Hinton, age 59, was born March 6, 1961 and departed this life on January 14, 2021. Darryl was an avid car enthusiast! As a child when a car would pass-by he was a master at naming the car model, make and year.

Darryl’s conversations always included a fact, a question or advice on how to fix your car. He would often share the next car on his “wish list’. He was a hamburger connoisseur, and lived for a good barbeque.

Darryl loved his grandchildren to the moon and back! He enjoyed babysitting, playing at the park and most of all sharing his fun adventures with his grands on Facebook.

Darryl was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Sandra Moseley Hinton; daughter, Christina Hinton; sister, Tammara Hinton; stepbrother, Stefan Washington; and granddaughters, Raelynn and Bella Holloway.

Darryl leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Yada (Melvin) Hardy, India and Darisha Hinton; stepdaughter, Shaunte Curtis; stepsons, Timothy Hale and Andre (Stephanie) Hodge; brother Wendell (Kirsten) Hinton; stepmother Wendy Hinton; stepsister, Felecia (Glenn) Pontoo; 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; special friend, Regina Hale; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members, and friends.

Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
