David E. Fairrow, age 54, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 21, 2020.

David was born November 7, 1965 to Robert L. Sr. and Margaret Fairrow.

David graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended Wilberforce University and later served in the United States Army.

David loved the Lord and was an active member of the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ, where he did what he loved, playing the organ. When not playing at Glorious, his talent of the organ/piano led him to play at several churches including Agape Fellowship, First Baptist, and Emmanuel. He had a passion for playing and singing to the Glory of God, no matter where he went, if there was a piano, he made his way to play. His talent will be missed.

David was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert L. Sr. and Margaret Fairrow; brother, Bobby Fairrow; and sister, Mara Fairrow.

David is survived by his daughter, Eden Hatfield; sister, Rosala Brown; nieces, Angela Fairrow (who was more like a sister), Tara (Mike) Maughmer, and Patricia Fairrow; nephews, Clifford Brown Jr., Terance (Kena) Brown, and Samuel (Robin) Brown; buddy, Mike Steed; and many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Visitation 3:00pm and Funeral 4:00pm Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Original Glorious Church Of God In Christ, 123 West Main St. , Chillicothe, OH 45601.

David was a beautiful and precious soul. I can’t remember a time when I don’t remember him. My old hometown scrap book shows that we were classmates beginning in 2nd grade, but I would have sworn it was even before that.

I pray you’re at peace in Heaven, sweet David. Singing, playing the keyboard, and dancing like I remember you from so long ago.

Wow, still can’t believe David is gone. Too soon. We were next door neighbors and he and Angie would come over to play on the front steps and have koolaid sells. Lol I remember the windows open in the summer and hearing him singing and play the piano. Great memories. I can still hear him singing and praising the Lord and know he’s singing with the Angel’s today. My prayers, condolences to all of the family. You all are in my thoughts. Love you all. David was one if the most talented person I met in my lifetime. I met David and we became immediate friends. I had the pleasure of playing with at a few programs held at the Department of Veteran Affairs. Yes, David was a gifted musician and his talents praised the Lord. I, along with so many others will miss his kind spirit and that wonderful smile. Only God knows why now and God is who we look to for understanding and healing. May God help Family and friends in finding a peace within themselves when it seems so hard to say goodbye to a God fearing man. RIP David.

So So unbelievable, As far as I am concern, David was one of the best young piano / organ players Chillicothe has ever had, he could make them really really sound like they were singing their self. David will be missed by many churches as well as ALL of his FAMILY & FRIENDS. Fly high David, fly high.
