David McCullough, 59. Sunrise April 3, 1956 and Sunset September 21, 2015. He was born to the late Sanders and Elizabeth McCullough in Columbus, Ohio.

David was known for his love for family and friends. Turning up with his children, granddaughter Ciera, nieces and nephews who can’t forget his wall of fame. David was a father to every one of his kids, even his dog “T Bone”

A party wasn’t a party til David ran through it. His love of fishing was shared with his brothers and sisters, spending days on the river bank. Now if you visit Davids’s home each wall was covered with a fish tank, even naming his fish.

David’s love for cooking landed him his own catering service; the brother could cook up a meal! Who could forget his cheesy potatoes, his BBQ meat balls, ribs and his to die for chicken alfredo and Mac and Cheese. David worked for years as Manager of BP Gas Station as well as UDF where many of us were blessed to get “Gas on David”.

David was known for his sharp dressing and his many hats. But don’t get it twisted that’s not the only thing David was known for. If you need advice there was no better person to go to, and believe me, David took it to his grave.

David Retired from Donato Warehouse as Manager; because he was ALWAYS the BOSS. His love for children and grandchildren was to die for. Making homemade pizza even then his place of employment. and his home made Sundays will always be a cherished memory with grandchildren. Fishing with the Boys will never be the same, for it was Uncle David who did the teaching. David’s favorite saying was “If a man don’t take care of home, he’s not a real man.” In these tough days to come, when you think about David, remember to LAUGH AND DANCE.

As well as his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers Sanders McCullough Jr. and Duane McCullough.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Diane M. McCullough, sons David L. McCullough, Lance A. McCullough, Travis McDonald, Jason Tatum, Shawn Tatum, Robert Hall, Dwight Hall, Steffon (Renisha) Peck, Dominique (Trina) Peck, Stacy (Tia) Peck, daughters Sheena T. Hall, Ashley Mason, Andrea McCullough, Montie (Jerry) Johnson, and Cicily Peck, brothers Delbert E (Pricilla) McCullough, twin Daniel McCullough, Marshall McCullough “Marty” and Michael (Deidra) McCullough, sisters Willie M. McCullough, and Sallie B. Broady, 42 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
