I am still in disbelief, it’s been a rough week. I keep playing back in my head our last hours of your visit here in Charlotte. I don’t understand what could of happened, when you left me. You were like a mother to me. 23 years ago when I moved to Columbus fresh out of high school I had no one, not a clue about life. BUT GOD sent me an Angel, you took me under your wing and showed me the ropes. I met my husband Courtney and you laughed and said you’re going to marry him. I said no I’m not. Your love was genuine and unconditional. Your smile was so vibrant and so confident. You always made something out of nothing and you were the life of every party. You lived every day like it was your last. I could go on and on. I’m thankful that God allowed our paths to cross and I had the chance to see you before you left this Earth. I will cherish all of our great memories, which you loved making. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers. I can’t wait to celebrate you Tuesday and when I get sad I will just think about your smile and how many lives you have touched. Gone but never forgotten. I love you Vita!
