DeAndre Bush

BushDeAndre

DeAndre Allen Bush fell from the sky May 3, 1989, on loan to Lisa Bush and Tony Brown.

DeAndre or “Vitamin D” as he so lovingly called himself was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Vitamin D was a part of the East High School 2008 graduating class. Deandre was a poet, musician, and a counselor; these were all his profession chosen for him, not by him.

DeAndre was known as a gentle giant to most who was able to put a smile on anyone’s face and put on one heck of a performance. Though Deandre was born facing many obstacles, he was able to overcome them all and leaving a lasting impression on all our hearts, with his everlasting wit, charm, and ever-present sarcasm. Knowing DeAndre was knowing you were always in for a surprise whenever you spoke to him, he was able to drop a song or movie quote at the drop of a dime for any occasion. DeAndre was a huge movie enthusiast who loved all sorts of genres and was able to quickly quote most of his favorite movies, word for word.

DeAndre is preceded in death by father, Tony Brown; grandfather, Timothy Holmes; great-grandmother, Almetta Holmes, and grandmother, Francine Marsillio.

DeAndre leaves to cherish his memory mother, Lisa Bush; dad, Michael Coffey; sister, Brittany Coffey; brothers, Micah and Nigel Brown; stepmother, Angie Brown; grandmother, Rita Devones; grandparents, Robert and Rosalyn Carter; and a host of aunts, uncles, special cousins, and friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
