Deborah Nicholson Williams was born in Welch, West Virginia on October 31, 1950 to the late Herbert and Ernestine Hale. She was adopted and raised by the late Joseph and Mary Hale. Deborah was called to her heavenly home on November 5, 2021.

Deborah was proceeded in death by her husband Leon Williams; son Turhan Hale; parents Mary and Joseph Hale; brothers Charles Hale, Sr., McCoy Hale, and Herbert Hale; sisters Martha Taylor, Evelyn Hale; and sister-in law Diane Scales Hale.

Deborah leaves to cherish her memory daughters Tia Hale James (Charles), Desiree Nicholson Elder (Darold Sr.); grandchildren Roderick Hales, Chaz James, Jordan Clark, Teneeyah Hale, Darold Elder Jr., Myah Elder and Chenae White;; great grandchildren Rylie Hale, Maleya James, Tacorie Hale, Makhi Savage, and Nasir Elder; sisters Mamie Hale, and Janice Hale, ; brothers Elder Rodney Hale (Lee), Bernard Hale, John Hale, Tony Hale (Lois), and Clyde Hale; aunts Lula James and Maxine Hale; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends Donna Brown (Richard), Cynthia Goins (Harvey).

Private Visitation 11:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 12:00 PM Saturday, November 20, 2021 at New Generation Church, 1173 Essex Ave. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
