Our beloved mother, Deborah R. Hoy, age 63 passed away Sunday, March 7th, 2021.

A devoted Christian, mother, sister and friend, Mrs. Hoy was a member of God’s Grace Deliverance Apostolic Faith Church. Deborah enjoyed her family, friends, home, reading and listening to music. In her zenith, she relished cooking, entertaining, ensuring all around her were as comfortable as possible and was an unparallel hostess. She never knew a stranger without befriending them. Her infectious smile and laughter were felt by all who knew her. She loved talking on the phone, particularly with her closest family members and dearest friends. Mrs. Hoy was especially proud of her two children, Stephanie and Bell having taken great pride in their accomplishments as well as her mothering them both.

Deborah was born on October 4, 1957 in Cleveland, OH to Naomi Easley and Franklin Loper. She lived in Zion, Illinois from grade school to 1984 before relocating to Columbus, OH. Mrs. Hoy and Bell Hoy, Jr. were married from 1982 to 2005 and share two children.

Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Easley and father Franklin Loper.
