Debra Wright born April 29, 1956 in Mansfield, Ohio to Clarence and Ruby (Spears) Bridgeman. She made Mansfield her home for all of her 65 years. Debra left this earth early Thursday morning on June 24, 2021. Debra became a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Mansfield Ohio at a very young age where she served as an usher, member of the Baptist Youth Organization, and soloist for the junior choir. She was always ready to sing on Sunday mornings for the Lord with no hesitation and filled the church with God’s spirit.  Debra later attended Mitchell Chapel AME Church in Mansfield, Ohio where she was a beloved member. She was also a long-time member of the hospitality industry and served at the American Legion Post #676 for many years. She was always present with a smile on every occasion. Her endearing personality enabled her to impact all around her in a positive way. From her early childhood years to her last days, it was undeniable that everyone knew “Deb”.  Debra truly loved the Lord, her family, and friends. Her favorite saying was “GOD’s GOT ME”.  She could always be heard humming a favorite gospel song even until her last earthly breath. Her spirit and genuine love will fill hearts and memories forever. Debra is lovingly remembered by her three children, Tomika Spears of Cleveland, Ohio, Rashad Spears of Mansfield, Ohio, and Candy Spears of Mansfield, Ohio. Debra is also survived by husband, Christopher Wright of Mansfield Ohio; five grandchildren Trayvon, Ashante, Ladarius, A’Shaundreh, and Laila; and great grandchild Zayvion. Debra is also loved and survived by her three sisters, Ingrid Doughty of Louisville, Kentucky, Judy Bridgeman of Detroit, Michigan and LaToya Bridgeman of Cincinnati, Ohio. Debra was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law.  Funeral service will be held July 3, 2021 at 9:00am at Providence Baptist Church, 112 West 6th Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902, visitation to begin at 8:00am.
