Debres Wright

WrightDebres

Debres Wright AKA Ms. Lois was born in Welch West Virginia to the late Alice Staples and William Branch. She grew up in Worcester Massachusetts with her eight siblings. At eighteen she moved to Columbus Ohio with her older sister, where she became a long-time member of Family Missionary Baptist Church. Debres later met the Love of her life Joseph Wright. She was a joy to be around. Her love for the Lord was unbreakable. After suffering a stroke, she re-learned each bible verse and believed in the power of prayer. Due to her stroke she retired from Ross laborites and fifth third bank and in later became a member of Ever Lasting Life Ministries alongside her husband.

Debres was loved by many and loved all. She was the neighborhood mother, sister and friend to anyone in need. Debres would feed anyone that came to her door hungry and would give the clothes off her back. She was big on family and would host family gathering/cookouts in her back yard and of course she would be on the grill. She enjoyed fishing and watching sports with her husband. She was a true Stealers and Lakers fan!

Debres, unfortunately, was dealing with heart and kidney failure and refused dialysis. She was ready to join her late husband Joseph Wright in the afterlife. For two weeks straight Debres asked to either see or talk to her love ones to prepare everyone, and she was happy reuniting with family.
Debres is preceded in death by her parents, Alice McDaniel and William Branch; husband, Joseph B Wright; brothers, Cecil Staples, Dexter McDaniel, William McDaniel, and Edward McDaniel; and sisters, Laquita and Blanche Harris.
