DeJuan Terrell Holmes, born December 17, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at OSU Wexner Hospice of Central Ohio, surrounded by his loving family.

DeJuan was previously employed at Turkey Hill as a cashier before his illness. He was a devoted Michigan fan. While working on campus during the OSU games, he would wear his Michigan shirt with pride.

DeJuan accepted Jesus as his Savior and was baptized at Abundant Love Tabernacle. He had strong faith in God, even in his sickness, no matter how sick he was, he trusted him. He knew God was there to carry him through.

DeJuan was a kind-hearted soul, he had such a giving heart, he loved to help people and he loved his family and children. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. DeJuan was a loving father, son, brother, nephew and friend. He will truly be missed.

DeJuan was preceded in death by his mother, Rochelle Williams; grandparents, General and Phyllis Jefferson and Hattie Mitchell; uncles, Ronald Holmes Sr. and William Jefferson; and aunt, Belinda Jefferson.

DeJuan leaves to cherish his memory, son, Kingston Motley; daughter, Na’Je Barnes; devoted father, George Williams; brother, DeWayne Williams; aunts, Chana (Pastor Robert) Taylor, Robin Holmes, Rhonda (Jon) Langford, Patty Marshe, Mary Holmes, Velvet (Alvin) Sealy, and Doris Jefferson; uncles, Walter Pritchard, Colby, Michael (Shiela) and Vernon (Linda) Long, Thomas (Patsy), Ernest (Mary), General III (Ceola), Robert (Patrica), Joseph (Tina) Jefferson, and Cornell Burris; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2019 at Abundant Love Tabernacle, 145 Obetz Rd.

Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery
