Delainea Maree Ward, affectionately known as Lanie and Shorty, passed away November 25, 2022. Delaniea was born May 15, 1981, to George and Jean Ward in Columbus Ohio and was the youngest of seven children.
Delainea was preceded in death by her mother Jean (Scott) Ward.
Delainea is survived by her daughters, Ashley and Kimberly Burris (their father Matthew Burris); father, George (Georgette) Ward; siblings Della (Donald) Payne, Ray Ward, Mary Ward, Ann Ward, Leon (Felicia) Ward, and Lazo (Maria) Ward; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members; special friends Matt and Stacy Cummins and their family.
Visitation 11-1:00pm Thursday, December 1, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park.
