Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Del had a smile that could light up a room. He was always smiling and always pleasant to be around. Although Del was technically my, “little cousin,” I couldn’t call him little for long, because he grew to be so tall. We sure will miss him; our family won’t be the same without him. There is great solace in knowing that Del knew and loved the Lord … what a comfort! May God wrap his loving arms around my dear, sweet cousin, Layana Simmons (Del’s mother). Layana was an EXCELLENT mother to Del; a Godly mother, and she should be so proud. Thank you, GOD, and thank you Layana, for blessing our family with Delbert. The world is a much better place because he was in it!!!

My thoughts are with family and friends at the terrible loss of such a wonderful young man. He was the one of the finest young men I have ever known and fought and overcame terrible obstacles in life. He is also one of the finest musicians and his loss will be felt by many. May God bless all of you and take extra care for Delbert.

My son is loved by many. And so many loved him. He helped so many people.
But more importantly he achieved his goals. He achieved two degrees in In business management and entrepreneurship. He fought hard for band the box for people who had already served time. He has two beautiful children Nalah and Amir Perry. I miss him so, and now I have to find out Who was there as time of death. And did nothing. I am in search about wha happed. What’s a fantastic son and a great uncle and great father and husband. Missing you every day loving you every day your mom❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  21. Today is September 17, 2022. I am the mother of Delbert Purcell Perry. I know God has my son and his loving arms. I think God for being an anchor in his young life, it showed because of the way he treated people, Loved people. He was strong in his quest to overcome. He always said to me mom by the time I’m 35 I’m gonna be married and before I’m 40 I’m gonna have two kids. So he married Marissa Schroot, and they gave birth to Nalah layana Perry and Amir Xavier Perry. I pray often that his children will know the best of him. It’s still a struggle every single day to love on this earth with out him. For those of you who loved him thank you and for those of you who know what happened to him let it be told. We cannot let sealed deaths go unnoticed, without an explanation of why it has been sealed, and who is being protected because of it. If you know tell if you know share. I am saddened by this tragedy that someone took his life. I love you my son forever and ever beyond the beyond. God knows and it’s in his plan to Release it.
