Denise Michelle McGhee, age, 58 was born April 24th, 1961 in Logan, West Virginia to Joe Page and Lillie Cole. She departed this life suddenly March 7th, 2020.

Spending her childhood years in Logan, Denise moved to Boston Massachusetts and spent her teenage years with her brother and sister Richard W. Cole Jr and Richarda Lynette (Darrius) Cole. She graduated from Hyde Park High School. After graduating at age 18 Denise moved to Columbus, Ohio with her father Joe Page. At 19 she met and married Curtis McGhee; together they had 4 children. Denise spent many years employed with Chase as a customer service representative where she enjoyed helping people.

In her spare time Denise liked to stay informed and was well versed on the news and current events. Denise loved her classic TV shows like Little House on the Prairie and watching her favorite Tyler Perry movies. Denise was an avid bingo player it was her favorite past time. Above all else she loved spending time with her beautiful grandchildren. She was a proud grandmother of 7.

Denise is proceeded in death by her youngest son, Dennis McGhee, who passed at birth.

Denise leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Lillie Cole and Joe Page; brother and sister, Richard W. Cole Jr and Richarda Lynette (Darrius) Cole; 6 other brothers; 3 children, Denise Michelle (Ayuba) Seidu, Erskine Curtis McGhee, and Denita (Todd) Reeves; nieces, Naomi Cole and Daria Grace Cole-Davis; 7 grandchildren, Dayon Smith, Curtisy McGhee, Jerimiah McGhee, Daniel McGhee, Jordan Reeves, Kylie McGhee, and Skyy McGhee, and a host of relatives and close friends that she considered family.

Visitation 12:00pm and Funeral 1:00pm Friday, March 20, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
