Destani Alyce Spriggs was born October 26, 1996 in Columbus, Ohio to Richard M. and Tina E. Spriggs. Destani was a proud mother to a beautiful son, Davionne.
“Mama,” as she was lovingly nicknamed by family, was a quiet soul until you got to know her. Once you got to know her, she shared such a sweet and loving side of her. But don’t let that fool you, she was hilarious as well.
Destani had a million dollar smile that could light up a room. She was the apple of her mommas eye and the jewel of her father’s heart! Destani’s pride and joy was most certainly her family (near and far), but most of all, her baby boy Davionne Spriggs.
Destani was a very smart and driven young lady. She attended Beechcroft High School where she graduated in 2015. She was also an Assistant Manager at Arby’s.
Destani is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mary Kay (Peetie) and her uncle, Timothy E. Wallace.
Destani leaves behind to celebrate her life her loving parents; Her son: Davionne Spriggs; Her brothers: Richard Spriggs Jr, Trevaun Spriggs, Apollo Spriggs, Jaquez Johnson; Her sister: Te’a Riley; Her grandparents: Thomas E & Charlesetta Wallace and Milton Spriggs; And a host of loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends
Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

This video tribute to MAMA was absolutely beautiful. I would play it every day for Davionne. He will forget her and the love ❤️ she gave him. Destani lives through Davionne. It breaks my heart ❤️ to see him bc he knows something is not right. Destani is your Angel In Heaven & Davionne is your Angel on earth. My prayers for you and your family will never cease. My condolences to the Spriggs family. My heart is heavy. I remember the last time I saw Destani was shortly after I returned to Columbus. She was always happy. She gave me a big hug! I remember her when she was younger and I stopped by the house to see her. She is a beautiful young lady. She will be missed. Sending prayers and hugs to the family.
Our love and prayers are with all at this time of need. Such a beautiful soul can’t help but to fly, but yall memories and her spirit will always remain with you forever. The Radcliff’s.
Sending love and prayer to the family. My daughter attended Alpine elementary school with Destani and also lived in the same neighborhood growing up. Destani and another of my daughter’s friend went to Friendly’s restaurant for my daughter’s birthday breakfast and Cosi Science museum. It was like the perfect day, the three girls was laughing and it was nothing but happiness. It made me extremely sad to hear about this and I pray to God for understanding and peace for her family. This has hurt me and she will be missed i remember her smiling face as she walked through Beechcroft High School this feels very unreal and I am very sad that this has happened I pray peace to the family and my condolences with you

What a wonderful dedication to ur daughter . I’m truly sorry but I trust that God has a plan for ur precious daughter. Just be glad and know u did a good job and the best u knew how. Love u always and I pray ur family will find peace
