Devon L. Durr, Sr was born May 22, 1990. He departed this earthly life on August 27, 2017 at the age of 27.
Devon was preceded in death by, grandmothers, Henry Mae Wiley and Louana Durr; and grandfather, Frank Wiley.
Devon leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Michelle Wiley and Daniel Durr, Sr; girlfriend, Latatum “Babe” Thompson; son, Devon Durr, Jr; daughters, DaCodess Durr, De’Oni Durr, and Denver Durr; brothers, Daniel Durr, Jr and Dequand Thurston; sisters, Alexis, Durr, Ariel Durr, and Louana Durr; special mom, Teresa Hollingsworth; and a host of other relativesand friends.

Deepest sympathy to Devon’s parents Michelle and Daniel, his sisters, brothers, children, all his relatives. I had not seen Devon since he was about 10. His Aunt Shirlee is my dearest friend she is deeply saddened. As I was to hear of his passing. There are few words of comfort at this time. May god be with you all. Devon Durr, Man I will miss you dearly! The last time i seen you was in July at the 11th liquor store with Sam. You looked so happy and handsome. I even gave you a hug. Your kids are beautiful and look just like the both of y’all Mostly you. It hurts to write this because who would think this day was coming Soon. We use to be bad together hang around the same crowd even went to the office together in trouble. I’m glad God gave you another chance at life to live better before you went home with him. I know you was a smart and a working man. You was a provider a Protecter. You have created a leagues that will live on for ever, your Children. You was always clam and chill never was in a lot og drama but God needed it you more then us. I love you Devin Durr the King!!

My heart is broken over this. Such a beautiful soul. Such a special individual from a baby.. I Will never forget you Dev.. Those sparkling eyes…those amazing dimples..and a smile that would light up the darkest room. I love you nephew..You rest now until its our time to come home.

To the family of Devon, you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Death was never God’s purpose for the human family. He put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden (paradise), and they were to extend it, to have many children, and to fill the earth (Genesis 1:28). They were to live forever as long as they did not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, if they did, they would die (Genesis 2:15-17). Very soon, God will reverse the effects of sin by eliminating death forever and all of His promises will come true! – Isaiah 25:8
I love you devon and am sorry i failed you as a big brother it should of been me in that casket not you……sorry i‘ll do the best i can for your kids

I’m struggling with the homme going for Devon. He wss such a nice young man. I met Devon at Centerplate through his Mom Michelle. Devon you will be missed. Prayers to the family, children, significant other and most of all Michelle.
