Donald Cofield was born January 26, 1954 in Barnesville Georgia to Andrew James Cofield and Minnie Grace Sullivan Cofield. He made his transition into heaven on April 29, 2022.

Donald was raised in Georgia and Columbus Ohio and attended Columbus Central High School. Donald asked Jesus to forgive his sins, be his Lord and Savior and received salvation while attending Rhema Christian Center in Columbus Ohio. He had a lot of challenges in life, however, with God he was able to overcome them. He knew with God’s help he could overcome anything and he did. Donald had such a beautiful smile. He could be a jokester and he could really make you laugh without trying to. His laughter was very contagious. He had a heart of gold. Donald loved listening music and watching movies. He was very easy going but also a very private person.

Donald is preceded in death by his father, Andrew James Cofield, sisters-in-law, Donna Cofield and Catherine Cofield, niece, Shantel-Grigsby-Decoux, nephew, Dashay Coleman and very close dear friend, Regina Flemister.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Minnie Grace Cofield, brothers, Anderson Cofield, Ernest Cofield of Ashland KY and Eric Cofield; sisters, Diane (Kenneth) Stevens, Frieda Cofield, Sandra (David) Cofield, Claudine (Thomas) Parenteau of Norfolk, VA; Pamela (Bob) Boykins of Orange Park, FL; Jacqueline (Solomon) Williams of Pflugerville, TX and many nieces, nephews and friend.
