Donald W. Edwards, Sunrise March 20, 1934-Sunset Wednesday November 27, 2019 at St. Ann’s Hospital.
Donald served in in the United States Army where he was honorably discharged and was formerly employed by Wright Patterson Air force Base. Donald had a great love for old Western movies and Cowboy hats.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Laura Edwards, wife, Selena “Ethel Edwards, 5 brothers and 8 sisters; son, Johnny Holbert; grandson , Kendrick Wilkerson.
He leaves to cherish his memories 8 children, Don Edwards, Andre (Angela) Edwards, Catrina (James) Jones, Vivian Edwards, Linnie Edwards, Donna (Williams Williamson) Edwards-longtime caregivers; 41 grandchildren, including Santia (Brandon) Owens-Longtime caregivers, 141 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, family members and friends.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Friday, December 6, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
