Donavan McCurdy Main Photo

Donavan Keith McCurdy, son of Shantay Morgan and Donald McCurdy Jr., was born June 14, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio. He loved his family and was dedicated to anything he started.

Donavan wore many hats, meaning he had many skills, but it seemed that music was the last thing he was concentrating on. He loved the craft. In his younger years he played football and basketball. He also enjoyed fishing. Donavan loved to have fun. He impacted so many lives with his impressionable behaviors. He will forever live on in our lives by all that knew him. He was stolen from us on December 23, 2020.

His beautiful life will never be forgotten. He had no children. He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Shantay Morgan and Donald McCurdy Jr.,; brothers and sisters, Alphonso Johnson, TaeShawn Morgan, Arnett Smith, Alexandria Smith, Dondrae Keith McCurdy, Shaylin L. McCurdy, and Shalaya L. McCurdy; grandparents, Donald K. McCurdy Sr., and Laura Moaten; aunts, LaShawnta McCurdy and LaVonne Banks; uncles, Kenny Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Jerome Morgan, Derrick Morgan, and Craig Hagwood; and a host of devoted cousins and friends.

PRIVATE Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Chapel of Peace – East, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

Shantay,

I can’t begin to imagine what you’re going through. As a mother my heart bleeds for you. We all knew Donovan since he was a little kid and watched him grow up,sadly we’ll never get to see what he would have became.

You and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers as well as your remaining family. I’m here if you need anything . RIP Donovan!

Peewee&Shantay, thank you for blessing us with our Lil cousin, he was ALWAYS laughing when I seen him, showed respect to his elders, overall, a pretty well rounded kid. I am still SHOCKED by all of this, I pray for peace and understanding. Love you
