Donna Gayle Reed age 76 was called home by her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 8,2022 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. Donna was a charter member and Elder of Mann-Fest Christian Cathedral International for 19 years under the leadership of Bishop Ronnie K.Reed. Donna graduated from East High School. She Retired from Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority as a switch board operator.
Donna G. Reed is preceded in death by her parents, Steve H. Reed and Emma J. Reed; Husband James H. Sims, Jr.; Son Kevin L. McCall; Siblings, Deborah K. Wilson, Michael L. Reed, Vernon Reed, Stephanie Reed, Alma J. Reed-Bocoum.
Donna is survived by her sons Maurice(Melissa) McCall, James(Annette) Sims III, Jermaine(Anita) Sims and goddaughter LaNayla Holt. Siblings Steve H. Reed Jr., Bishop Ronnie K.(Inga) Reed, Glenn (Carolyn) Reed, Gwendolyn (Willie) Hoke, Brenda (Michael) Ware, Barbara (John) Keaton, and Tanya Reed.
A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Private Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

  3. Prayers and condolences to the family of Donna Reed, she was a close friend of my mother the late Doretta (Dodie) Hawkins and a part of the Ebenezer Baptist Church under the late Rev. LC Brown. She was a beautiful person inside and out and had a smile that would light up a room!
