Donté AnJuan Moorer, aka “Te’Mo”, was the first born to Linda R. Alexander on May 28, 1977 in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School, Class of 1995 where he participated as a “Panther” on the football team.

Donté was a talented pop culture musician and prolific artist. He produced unique music in his production company branded as One Hood. His company also helped propel many aspiring musicians and local artists including spoken word enthusiasts. His recording studio was always a place of love, fun and creativity. As an accomplished artist, he could draw anything. His art portfolio is full of many creative and interesting drawings. He always had a kind word or inspirational quote for everyone, which he ended with “your welcome”.

Donté was very active in the community both socially and musically. One example of how he gave back to the community is, when he invited a homeless man into his home. He provided a hot shower, clean clothes and a hot meal to the man. This was the kind of man Donté was; a loving, giving, strong, and non-judgmental man. He was king among his community. Professionally, Donté worked for AT&T and Time Warner Cable, where he also embraced a community of people who loved him.

Donté leaves to cherish his memory mother, Linda Alexander (Donald), siblings Jeffrey Bias (Amy), Kenneth Moorer (Tiffany), Dennis Chalmers, Dominique Alexander and Tanisha Alexander, three nephews Ke’Shaun, Donovan, and Dominic, three nieces Jasmine, Diana and Makiya, one aunt Gwen, three uncles, Shannon, Earl (Avis) and Steven (Yolanda), cousins, Mickey, Stacey, Tressa, ShannonJr., Kyisha, Malachi, Kairston, Mahlon, Brandon, Brad, Shenel, Tre’von, Jasmine and a multitude of extended family and very close friends.

Words can’t express how tragic and senseless this is but he is definitely watching over us as we remember him. I can’t believe I will not be able to stop by and hang out anymore but I’m happy I had the chance to be friends with him. He is with all the Angels now but will always remain in our hearts.
