I am so grateful to God for allowing me to be Graced with knowing Ms. Doris. She was a great encourager and inspirational woman of God. She had many gifts and talents which she shared with everyone she came in contact with. She was warm, had an open door policy, and a beautiful smile which could calm any storm. I never heard her complain during her illness. She fought a good fight and kept the faith. She had many mountains to climb and she made it to the mountain top. A great soldier will be missed at FCCS. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a beautiful human being inside and out. I only got to spend 8 short months with her when I started at Children Services last year but in that 8 months, Miss Doris showed me love I had never felt in the workplace. She has been my continued motivation to stay in school to become a social worker. She will be forever in my heart and missed by all of us!

    Prayers for healing and comfort.

To the family of Doris Jones, my condolences and prayers are with you at this time. I celebrate her life for the time we had with her.
“Doris” such a special name for a special person We met at FCCS and from the beginning we connected in so many ways and that lasted up until she earned her wings. Doris was a special gift given to us and touched so… many lives that came through the system. It was all about the “babies” and meeting their needs. Doris has left her mark and her work will continue on.
“Doris” was like my “Mama” because she carried the same name “Doris” a angel and friend who I loved so much and knowing that she will always be a part of me while cherishing the many gifts and visions set forth. May God provide peace, love and support to you all.
