Doris L. Williams, age 79 was born August 14, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio where she remained a resident throughout her life.

She was a nurse aide carrying for the elderly. She always enjoyed country music, Elvis was her favorite singer and actor. She loved cooking and was the best baker ever. She was a very good writer, she wrote daily on whatever she could find, even post it notes. She loved so many people and loved hard. She was one of a kind, never to be duplicated. She will missed by all. She loved her dogs so much and loved Melody to the moon and back.

On October 14, 2019 she was called to Heaven to be with her husband, James Williams; mother, Alberta Chaney; father, Robert Ayers; sisters, Sadie, Ola Mae, and Berdetta; brothers, Daniel and Robert; daughter, Veronica Williams; and son, Duane Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory, partner, Melody Smith; brother, Gary; daughters, Carmen (John Broom) Williams, Candice (Yolanda Heaseu) Williams, and Tabitha (Edward) Dorsey; son, Daryl Williams; Grandchildren, Disha, Paul, Darnell, Taucha, Little Candy, Valencia, Carnella, Josh, Carmella, Little Carmen; a host of great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Saturday, October 19, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
