Dorothy Louise Allen Payton, age 90. Sunrise February 11, 1924 in Jonesboro, GA and Sunset May 31, 2014 in Columbus, OH. Dorothy retired from First Community Village as a Dietary Aide and was a former member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church of America. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar B. and Annie Ezzard, husbands Waddell Allen and Tommie B. Payton, son Charles K. Allen, daughter M. Vanessa Allen, grandson Michael Charles Allen , great grandson Marshawn Barnes and 10 siblings. Left to cherish her memory, sons Michael (Ann) Allen, Clifford S. Allen, and Carlton C. Allen, daughters, Gloria A. Jordan, Jacqueline (Robert) Allen-Lee, Sharan C. (Gerald) Mansfield, Sounia A. (Keith) Ray, Dorothy L. (Charles) Rivers, Valena J. (Wayne) Mixon, and Veloris A. Edwards, 31 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
