BonetDesean

Desean Rondel Bonet was born June 27, 1999 in Detroit MI. At the age of 5 he found his permanent residence and became part of the Bonet family in Columbus, Ohio.

Though faced with many obstacles in life Desean was an over-comer. He was very independent and strong-minded. He was a high school graduate, and was interning in the construction field for future employment.

Desean had a big smile, a contagious laugh, and a great sense of humor especially with his siblings. He was energetic and loved to joke around. He loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his friends having a great time.

Desean will be greeted in heaven by his biological mother Tracy McElwee. He is survived by his Mother Yvette Bonet, his Uncle Trent, his 2 Sisters Deaira (NayNay) and Heaven, and his 3 Brothers Deric (DJ), Deante and Dakari. He is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, a Nephew, Grandmother and Biological family in Detroit, MI.

His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with forever. At this time, the family is asking for privacy as they grieve and heal together.

Visitation 3:00pm and Funeral 4:00pm Saturday June 16, 2018 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

My sincere condolences to the Bonet family, friends and relatives of Desean on the loss of your dear loved one.

To the family of Dsean, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Death is truly difficult especially when it is a young person with their whole life ahead of them. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 it tells us “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” However, because of God’s loving kindness he provided Jesus Christ as a ransom sacrifice to rescue us from sin and death! (John 3:16) You have God’s promise that Dsean will live again! (Acts 24:15)

My condolences to your family. I know this is a difficult time and I wanted to share some comforting words from the Bible. At Psalm 34:18, the Bible assures us that God is near to those that are broken at heart. So knowing that the God of all comfort ( 2 Corinthians 1:3,4) is always ready to hear our prayers and provide his Holy Spirit to give us power beyond what is normal to get through each day is very encouraging. I hope these scriptures along with memories of your loved one help to ease your sorrow in the days to come.
