Dyonte Dayon Morgan was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 1, 1994 to Lynette Green and Dwight Morgan. Dyonte departed this life on February 24, 2020 at Grant Medical Center.

Dyonte was educated in the Columbus Public School System attending Briggs High School where he excelled in the classroom as on the football field, earning himself a scholarship to Urbana University. In 2017 Dyonte became a father to his daughter Morgan and became a great dad.

Dyonte was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Geraldine Smith and Jerry Reeder; and cousin, Kenneth Turner.

Left to cherish his memory, his daughter, Morgan Young; girlfriend & daughters mother, Kaylee Fuller; parents, Lynette Green and Dwight Morgan; sister, J’Lynne Morgan; special sister, Tametria Baldwin; brothers, Breon Kelly, DaQuan Green (Rishiah Jennings), Dwight Clerk- Morgan, Jaleel Morgan, and Dezjuan Jacobs; grandparents, Anita Morgan, and Jimmy (Amy) Young; aunts, Kia Smith, Delia Wilson, Deidre Morgan, Janice (Troy) Groce, Starlett (Olan) Hylton; uncles, Juan Green, David Smith, Antwan Bradley, Mark Smoot, and Marvin (Emma) Redmond; best friend, Jaylin Johnson; special brother-cousins, Devin and Dionmi Smith; sister-cousins, Bria, StaNaya, and Ariya Smith; nieces, Caydence and Jordyn Green, Yamya and BreLynn Kelly, and Aerianna Bell-Clerk; nephews, Breon, NaVonte and Jahmir Kelly, DaCorreon Smith, Corrion Jennings, and Dwight Clerk Jr.

An crying at the same time stuff don’t seem real to me because I know when I get on my boys they can easily pick up the phone and call they Uncle to come pick them up no questions asked I can hear him say where y’all at I’ll be there I love you we love you even my little kids without asking about you and wanted to come to the funeral just now you will always have a piece of my heart a piece of our heart ❤

My nephew, this was the year you and baby Morgan was supposed to visit me in Georgia….. I will see you and I will continue to pray and be there for my family.

  8. It’s been years but to know that another young man I went to school with has passed is heartbreaking. I’m praying for strength and comfort in this time. God please wrap your arms around this family. Please keep his parents, siblings and daughter close to you.
