Earl Frank Prater Sr., age 77, was born on December 17, 1939 in Cedartown, Georgia and departed this life on February 20, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.
Earl is predeceased by his parents, Moses Prater Sr. and Adell Cobb; daughter, Carolyn Prater; brothers, Moses Prater Jr. and Thomas Prater; sisters; Laura Tiggs, Betty Fielder, and Dorothy Jelks; brother-in-laws, Anthony Fielder, Joe Underwood, and Willie McElrath; and sister-in-law, Mary Prater.
Earl leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Mrs. Emma Prater; sons, Earl Prater Jr. Tony Prater, Wayne Prater, Christopher (Pamela) Prater, Nicholas Prater; daughters, Deborah (Richard) Cook, Tina Hartway, LaShonda Prater, Anjanquette (Frederick) Groce, Rosalynn Prater, Sherry Prater, Brothers, Floyd (Christine) Prater, A.C.(Pearl) Prater, Edward (Wanda) Prater, Johnny Prater, Carl (Cathy) Prater and Brian McElrath; Sisters, Jesse Underwood, Mary Hickman, Louis (Leonard) Jelks, Nellie McElrath, Nancy (Anthony) Thompson and NeCe McElrath and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
Earl will be forever missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be especially missed by those who had the pleasure of loving him and being loved by him.
