Earnest Walton Sr, age 84. Sunrise January 17, 1932 in Chapman, AL and Sunset June 27, 2016 at Eastland Care Center in Columbus, OH.
Earnest retired from Local Union 423. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Leesettie Walton, son Jimmy Walton, grandson Craig Anthony Walton, and brother Willie “Diddy” Walton.
Left to cherish his memory, former spouse Lula Walton, sons Earnest Walton Jr. and Frankie (Lisa) Walton, daughters Dianne Walton, Loretta (Calvin) Walton Kidd, Wanda Walton, Lola (Frankie) Walton-Edwards, Martha (Anthony) Walton-Dixon, Linda Walton, and Susan (Solomon) Walton-Ray, brother Herbert Walton, sisters Mary Howard, Mattie (Billie) Page, and Leola Doss-Coles, 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Earnest will be sincerely missed by all those who had the privilege to know him. He will be especially missed by all those who had the pleasure of loving him and being loved by him.
Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday July 02, 2016 at Triedstone Baptist Church 858 E. 3rd Ave.
