Ebb Williams, Jr., 83. Sunrise June 19, 1927 – Sunset February 16, 2011. Mr. Williams is an Air Force WWII Veteran, former employee of City of Columbus, Dons Trucking, United States Postal Service and owner of Pops Ribs. He was a member of First Church of God where he served with the Hospitality, Men of Valor and Transportation for Senior Ministries. He was also a member of Kawanas Club and NCNW. Ebb was preceded in death by his parents Anna Bell and Ebb Williams, Sr., children Shelia, Kirk and Renee and siblings Vernetta, Essie Velma and John. Left to cherish his memory, wife of 50 years Cassie Williams, children Dr. Brida (Ezzard) Coates, Rudolph (Sherry) Williams, Jacqulin (Gerald) Straughter, Melvin (Lori) Harrison, Stanley Harrison, Tony (Lillian) Harrison, VanTossa (John) Milner, Philip (Loretta) Harrison, Ericka (John) Holloway, Jonathan (Gwen) Williams, Valerie (Robert) Paynter and Monique Williams, brother Horace (Charlotte) Williams, sisters Vers Williams, Marlene Harris, Annette Jones, Shirley Scott and Queenie (Robert) Jackson and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
